This series of photos was shot by the talented Michael Colyer. He has a beautiful studio in Lenexa, Kansas where his approach to photography is highly artistic. He calls his fine art portraits, "Artography.” Which couldn’t be more accurate! He has a creative eye and vast experience in developing what he sees in his mind into reality in frame.
This shoot was a promotional endeavor for my long time friend and fashion designer Celine Collins. Her store in Westport, Kansas City is stocked-full of amazing creations including Pinup-style fashion, steampunk as well as Gothic motifs.
Monkey Wrench Clothing has been alive in the fashion scene for some time now and I always consider it a privilege to model and style for them! Celine, who is seldom seen in front of the camera, allowed me to do her hair and makeup for this project in order to create new headshots. Lauryn, the third model in our group, brought a delightful Gothic element to the set that was so fun to watch Michael work with. Ours was truly a wonderful collaboration all around and I can’t wait to team up again in the future!
All fashion in this shoot can be found at monkeywrenchclothing.com or at the stores location at 1607 Westport Rd. Kansas City, Missouri.
