[dropcap type=”square”]T[/dropcap]he Janis Tiara is inspired by and named for my sister. One of the most unbelievably strong women I have ever known. Yet I know her delicate fragility . . . She is full of brilliant sparkle and has a smile that is impossible to miss. Her love of the beach and the islands is something we have always shared and it seemed fitting to represent her with flowering seashells. Many details of this creation are personally inspired by my sister’s creativity, beauty, vibrance, and the loving nature of her day-to-day care and consideration for those around her.
I chose a more dramatic approach in the size and structure of this Tiara. It has volume and curving soft lines. From each five petal flower to glimmering hints of color, I am so pleased to see it captures Janis’s spirit beautifully. I scoured the shores of the sea to find the perfect combination of shells to create this unique one of a kind piece. Freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals, natural Kauai sea shells, rhinestones, coral and beach glass make this Tiara truly sparkle from every angle.
