The “Cathleen” Mermaid Tiara

[dropcap type=”square”]T[/dropcap]he Cathleen tiara was the first in my series of beach crowns. Named after my mother, it was created with her inspirations and spirit in mind. It has a more vintage feel where I used sparkling silver material on the inside of the crown versus the wrapped twine in my later designs. The effect reminds me of my mother’s love of vintage items and the joy that came from handmade gifts in years past. This Tiara is inspired by my mother’s creativity and glowing presence. The colors, textures and overall balance of this crown are delicate yet bold. Each Kauai seashell has been hand beaded and sparkled with crystals, freshwater pearls, swarovski stones and rhinestone gems.
Authentic Kauai beach glass and coral, preserved by the ocean and seasoned by the sun, makes this crown an unforgettable addition to any special event. Balance, beauty and glowing presence. The Cathleen Mermaid Tiara truly is remnant of its namesake. I love you Mama.
